The music program at Stamford Lane United Church is an inclusive, faith-based program that provides our community with top quality music education led by Sara Maida-Nicol (UofT, Royal Conservatory) and Linda Bruch (Royal Conservatory). Students learn proper vocal technique, performance practice and the basics of music theory, history & appreciation.
The choirs are featured in six “family-oriented” church services and gain performance experience that builds self-confidence in a supportive, inclusive environment.
The young musicians also take part in a Christmas musical and a student-led fundraiser.
